“Why the hell are you doing this?” It’s a thought that pops into my head often. Not out of second-guessing myself, but accountability to focus on the task at hand.
So let’s back up a few years when this company was founded, 2016. We still operate under the official name, Dekopon Solutions, LLC. So why the name change, and why now? One could say I got tired of hearing everyone asking me what the hell a Dekopon was. “Google it,” is where I’m currently at in responding to that.
The real reason though? Our identity change. Dekopon Solutions started as a web design company, and that isn’t what we are. We are a results-driven marketing agency.
Our core services still include web design, but has also branched to reputation management and a 90-day accelerator where someone inside of our agency (potentially me) works with other companies as a fractional CMO (chief marketing officer). If you have one of those, no worries, we’ll just defer the term to Growth Coach.
We’ve partnered with one of the biggest household names in the current state of marketing, DigitalMarketer, as a promise to our clients to have the best systems and stay as current as possible with the latest trends in marketing. If you’re not familiar with DigitalMarketer, they’ve written some of the top books in marketing (Google ‘Ryan Deiss books’) and host the largest marketing conference in the world (Traffic and Conversion Summit). We get to be a part of that, which only the top marketers in the world get invited to, seriously.
And here we are, Maximum Effort Agency. When this company was created it was just me and a laptop I got for doing my Master’s Degree. I was 4 months out of the Army with limited business knowledge. It was only natural if this company succeeded that things would change.
I’ve personally learned from some of the brightest minds in business. I’ve interviewed them, worked with them, and continued to use their wisdom in my business and my clients’ business. I embrace I am never the smartest person in the room, and that has allowed this business to at least double every year.
So yes, when we say we help double the size of businesses, it’s not a blanket statement, we mean it, and we’d love to do it with you. In fact, it’s just the right nudge and focus that we provide to do it. A proven sales sequence in the customer value journey and a bit of accountability.
I’ve always told people I have the best clients in the world. They make me happy and I make them happy. We laugh, meet up in person, and even play jokes on each other at times. I guess it’s a proven sales process with a pinch of luck. If you feel that you fit our mold, or culture as the kids say these days, we’d love to meet you. No matter what our job is to make sure that even if nothing further comes between us, we provide clarity in chaos.
It’s rare when someone contacts us and knows exactly what they want. And I bet 90% of those people are not a fit to work with us, but by the time they get off the phone, they have a plan to execute. We value transparency and honesty in an industry where it’s very easy to not be.
Here’s to you, our clients, future clients, families, and everyone else along for the journey.
